How do you clean without using harsh chemicals?
Hey mums! Want some inspiration on how to clean your house without taking the easy route with harsh chemicals? It can be hard enough to make time for a deep clean, let alone worrying about finding cleaner alternatives that are good for us and our families. Fret not – with the right tips up your sleeve you'll find that switching out those strong cleaners doesn't mean missing out on a sparkling-clean home.

Ingredients to Avoid
  • Formaldehyde
  • Phthalates
  • VOCs
  • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
  • Ethanolamines (MEA, DEA, and TEA)
  • Triclosan
  • Fragrance/Parfum/- considered a ‘trade secret’ that single word can contain a cocktail of 1000 plus toxic synthetic ingredients
These are just a FEW of the ingredients you want to avoid when bringing products into your home. An informative documentary on different chemicals in personal care and cleaning products is STINK by Jon Whelan. You can watch this here.
